Use the links below to download electronic versions of each FACT document. The documents are organized sequentially, just as you will find them in your Portfolio, however only those documents required for current ECO participants are listed here. You may wish to save the documents to a folder on your computer for future use. All work (with the exception of class diagrams and observation notes) should be word-processed and printed out for your portfolio submission. This is a program requirement.

Don't forget to back up your files regularly!

Please Note: The information provided below is for use by those Early Completion Option (ECO)participants who began their program in the 2008-09 school year and is NOT applicable to those participants entering the program in the 2009-10 school year.

Standard 17: Equity & Diversity

Due Date: On or before March 30, 2009.

Equity and Diversity Evidence of Proficiency

Session 1 -- Completed at Year 2 Orientation
  • Provide a word processed standards-based lesson plan that reflects what you are implementing in your classroom.  Click Here to access guidelines for creating your lesson plan aligned to Standard 17.
  • Completion of Formative Assessment events so that evidence of growing proficiency in all elements of Standard 17 is present--refer to the elements of the standard as you complete the process to ensure that you have shown evidence related to each element (i.e. how have you examined your beliefs, attitudes, and expectations related to gender and sexual orientation and created a gender-fair, bias free learning environment). Be prepared to share with your portfolio reviewer where the evidence for each element is located.

You may wish to refer to the Standard 17 Lesson Plan checklist as you prepare your lesson plan.

 


Standard 19: Teaching English Learners

Due Date: On or before May 1, 2009

English Learners Evidence of Proficiency

Session 1 -- Completed at Year 2 Orientation

Lesson Series--Completed 2006 Version of CFASST Event 10--this is a lesson series, not a single lesson!

You may wish to refer to the Standard 19 checklist as you complete your work on Event 10.

Due Date: On or before Friday, June 18, 2009.
