WHAT Should I Register For?--All BTSA Participants should register for these.
Easy Access--LAUSD Single Sign On Application: https://ezaccess.lausd.net/ All teachers participating in the LAUSD BTSA Induction program will need to have an LAUSD Single Sign On account that will allow them to access the Learning Zone and MOODLE. If you do not already have single sign on access please activate your account now.
Learning Zone: Click here to register on the Learning Zone BTSA Participants at both LAUSD and Charter Schools will register for sessions requiring attendance and for Salary Point Classes on the Learning Zone.
State of California BTSA Induction Registration (Consent Form): BTSA PT 2011-12 Consent

State BTSA registration is now open. Click here to go to the BTSA PT 2011-12 Consent form and complete your state registration.

Who should fill out the consent form? --the state has now closed registration for 2011-12

  • All Year 1 participants, Local Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8, including Charter participants (register as Year 1)
  • Anyone who participated in BTSA in the past but was not in BTSA last year (register as Year 2)
 

 

 
 

Local District 7 Participating Teachers: 11.1 BTSA Pilot Orientation (choose ONE):

Local District 7 BTSA Induction participants will be participating in the BTSA Induction pilot program. Participants in LAUSD or Charter Schools located in Local District 7 should sign up on the Learning Zone for ONE session of the Mandatory Orientation

Orientation Session Who Should attend?
1.1 BTSA Orientation--Year 1 Register for this if you are registering for BTSA for the first time or need to restart your BTSA program from the beginning.
1.1a BTSA ECO Information Session

Register for this if you have never been in BTSA, meet the eligibility criteria, and are interested in finding out about the Early Completion Option (attendance at this session is a pre-requisite for application to the Early Completion Option Program. You must also be registered for the Year 1 Orientation on the same date.

This option is now closed.
2.1 BTSA Orientation--Year 2 Register for this if you were previously in BTSA Year 1 or if you were previously in BTSA year 1 and 2 but were unable to complete the requirements due to a leave of 1 semester or longer, military deployment or reduction in force.
3.1 BTSA Extended Orientation 2011-12 Register for this if you have previously been enrolled in BTSA year 1 and year 2 but have not completed your requirements to be recommended for a credential (if you will also need an extension on your credential please contact your credential analyst for asistance).

  • This session is for Local Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8.
  • (Local District 7 teachers should register for the LD 7 BTSA Induction Pilot Program).

  • The BTSA Early Completion Option is open to participants in Year 1 who meet all eligibility criteria , apply and are accepted into the program. If you think you may be eligible for and interested in this option please register for the ECO Information Session on the same date as your Year 1 Orientation (attendance at this session is a pre-requisite for application to the Early Completion Option Program) The last session that is eligible for ECO is Ocober 22, 2011.
