*Upcoming Opportunities* There are a number of events in the near future that you should be aware of. Please review the items below and make a note of those things you should sign up for when registration opens for each event. Registration opens approximately 6 weeks in advance of the event.
Welcome, new BTSA Participants! Please complete the two-step registration process for new BTSA participants below.
Step 1: 2008 - 09 Year 1 Orientation (This is an Orientation for NEW BTSA Participants!) Dates are now available for teachers who need to begin their BTSA Induction Program during the 2008-09 school year. Please click on the link to the right to reach the online registration system and a list of dates and information about the BTSA Year 1 Orientations! Please note that the dates posted on this registration site reflect changes from the original dates and locations posted!

Step 2: 2008 - 09 Year 1 California State Registration Teachers who are entering the BTSA Induction program during the 2008-09 school year must register to participate with the State of California. To do so, follow the step-by-step registration directions provided for you. Please print a copy of your registration confirmation and bring it with you to your Year 1 Orientation (see above).

2008 - 09 Year 2 Orientation Teachers who began their BTSA Induction program during the 2007-08 school year must attend a Year 2 Orientation as a required part of your program. Please click on the link to the right to reach the online registration system and a list of dates and information about upcoming BTSA Year 2 Orientations! Please note that the dates posted on this registration site reflect changes from the original dates and locations posted!

Standard 18/20 Make-up Year 2, ECO, or Extended Program BTSA participants who need to make up missed Standard 18 and/or Standard 20 seminar sessions only should register to attend a Standard 18/20 Make-Up session.	This event must be re-scheduled. Please check back.

Standard 17/19 Make-up Year 2, ECO, or Extended Program BTSA participants who need to make up missed Standard 17 and/or Standard 19 seminar sessions only should register to attend a Standard 17/19 Make-Up session.	This event must be re-scheduled. Please check back.

CFASST Salary Points In order to be eligible for CFASST Salary Points, you must register on the Learning Zone. You may access the Learning Zone at the following URL: http://lz.lausd.net/index.jsp To register for CFASST I or II: Log in to Learning Zone Select the tab for “Courses” Click “View Class Offerings” Under Program, choose “ALL” Under Keyword, enter “BTSA” The available classes will appear. Select the appropriate CFASST class (Year 1= CFASST I; Year 2 = CFASST II) Make sure you select the Location that shows your Local District! To be eligible to earn a salary point, you must do the following:
CFASST Year 1 Complete Events 1-6 Year 1 Event Record Form signed off by your Support Provider Complete IIP #1 and IIP #2 Submit a copy of your signed Year 1 Event Record Form and copies of IIP #1 & #2 to your Local District BTSA Program Director Place a copy of your Year 1 Event Record Form, IIP #1 & #2, and the artifacts to support your IIP goals in your Portfolio.		CFASST Year 2 Complete Events 7-12 Year 2 Event Record Form signed off by your Support Provider Complete IIP #3 Submit a copy of your signed Year 2 Event Record Form and copy of IIP #3 to your Local District BTSA Program Director Place a copy of your Year 2 Event Record Form, IIP #3, and the artifacts to support your IIP goals in your Portfolio.

Program Updates PORTFOLIO REVIEWS: Year 2 and Extended BTSA participants who have not yet completed a portfolio review, please contact your Local District BTSA Program Director to schedule your end-of-year portfolio review.				Program Updates SUPPORT PROVIDER SUPPORT! Please register to attend our annual update meeting regarding the LAUSD BTSA Induction Program! We will provide training on a host of concepts designed to help you work with your participating teachers and keep you up-to-date on program changes. Registration will re-open for this event shortly. Please check back soon! SUPPORT PROVIDER VERIFICATION OF DUTIES FORM In order to receive the stipend for work as a Support Provider, the school site administrator must submit a verification of duties form listing each Support Provider eligible to be paid the stipend. Please download the form below and submit the completed copy to the Teacher Support Unit. Click Here to download the Support Provider Verification of Duties Form.
